Reflecting on Challenges, Embracing Criticism, and Navigating Conflict with Love and Humor

Ever had one of those weeks where it feels like you're treading quicksand, barely making progress? Reflecting on the week behind me, it has felt more challenging than previous weeks in terms of productivity and progress, making it quite hard to maintain focus. I've managed to keep a constant flow and avoid investing energy into meaningless pursuits despite everything.

My general approach has been to look inwards whenever I face friction with things or people around me. By checking my reactions and taking ownership of everything, regardless of how I feel, I've learned to handle criticism better. Shifting my perspective to see criticism as free feedback has massively changed the way I view confrontations.

Another key insight has been approaching everything with love, even when it's not my default state. Acting out of anger rarely yields positive results. Instead, investing negative energy tends to return negative energy. You get what you give.

Don't get me wrong, conflict is healthy for any relationship—be it occupational, romantic, or familial. There is no growth without conflict, and if you can navigate through it, you'll find trust, love, and respect on the other side. You can choose to see conflict as fertilizer to grow your relationship or view it as a wall that prevents progress and understanding.

As you can see am just rumbling, so am going to put the pen down and head to bed. See you on the other side for the #SundayFilmReview
